Committed to engaging its activities in a virtuous and eco-responsible approach, INNOV8 has pioneered the adventure of relocating by manufacturing and distributing a whole range of certified Origine France Garantie and eco-responsible products, to the triple benefit of the environment, employment, and territories.
Thus, INNOV8 is the first French actor to have relocated the production of eco-responsible and 100% recyclable smartphone cases in France since 2020 through its own brand Muvit. Labeled Origine France Garantie, Muvit cases are made from recyclable materials and sold at the same price as those manufactured in Asia, but with 98% less CO2 emissions.
Highly committed, INNOV8 teams are extending this initiative to other more complex products such as universal chargers and backup batteries, with the goal of combining eco-responsibility, relocation, and purchasing power. INNOV8 also works on the entire life cycle of the products it o ers to improve their recyclability and repairability.

Why Choose Relocation?
Following COP 21, we wanted to commit to a virtuous model that could respond
to the climate emergency. This required completely rethinking our production
methods for smartphone accessories. We started with TPU cases and phone
covers because they are standard products, representing 80% of sales in France.
We worked to o er biodegradable and 100% recyclable models. However, this
initiative did not massively reduce their carbon footprint. This is why in 2019, we
committed to Made in France. The challenge was to sell them at the same priceas their Chinese equivalent. We were the rst in our sector to achieve this.
How Did You Do It?
It was not easy because many skills had been abandoned for over 20 years. We
had to identify the right industrial partners in France, find the material to inject, and
think about a process that could be industrialized and automated because the
manufacturing molds located in Asia are expensive and bulky. We had to be
clever and nd alternatives. At the same time, we had to reintegrate forgotten
skills such as plastic injection necessary for making our cases and train employees. We also had to convince our distributor clients to commit alongside us on this product. In the end, they do not regret their
choice since we crossed the 2 million sales mark last year. It is a real commercial and industrial success.How Does This Choice Reduce the Carbon Footprint of Such a Product?
The main carbon savings come from drastically shortening the supply chain. A product made in China must travel more than 9,000 km
before being distributed in France, and the modes of transport used (airplane, boat) are very polluting. Thanks to this relocation e ort, our
products travel between ten and a hundred kilometers to be delivered to stores. This allowed us to reduce the carbon footprint of the case
by about 98%! Moreover, we have innovated in parallel to o er 100% recyclable TPU models, automated the production of our eco-friendly
packaging at our Décines site to aim for zero waste, and set up a system for recovering and recycling cases to close the loop.
Our goal is always to ensure that our products have the lowest possible carbon footprint.
What Does the "Origine France Garantie" Label Represent?
It is more than just a logo on products; it is a strong recognition based on a strict set of criteria that rewards all the work we have done in
recent years. This success motivates us to relocate other, more complex product lines.
